Oak Lodge Reception and Conference Center has been in operation since 2001 and has been extremely successful in providing turnkey catering services for the Greater Baton Rouge area. The recent acquisition of additional real estate adjoining the original Oak Lodge has made it possible to offer services for 25-500+ guests.
Two couples proudly own the Oak Lodge – Rick & Dianne Evans and Mike and Dona Stevens. Rick & Dianne bring many years of catering experience with the ownership of Catering by Dianne, which has now merged with Oak Lodge. Mike and Dona Stevens bring administrative leadership, event planning and decorating skills to complete the successful partnership.
Gary Babin, a successful caterer and food presentation expert has recently joined the Oak Lodge staff. Gary, a successful Louisiana caterer for many years, assists Dianne with the food preparation. The addition of the Conference Center has certainly created the need to accommodate more guests.
Jonathan Bertrand brings 10 years of event management and conference services experience with him as Floor Manager for Oak Lodge. He and his staff take great pride in planning, setting, and servicing all aspects of our beautiful facilities.
Starr Driesse is the Sales Manager for Oak Lodge. Starr has over five year’s hospitality experience in catering and group sales handling weddings, corporate meetings and events, and a multitude of social functions. Please feel free to call us and make an appointment to tour our facility today!
CONFERENCE CENTER
Baton Rouge, a metropolitan city populated by State Government, numerous educational institutions, the river industry and the oil and gas business will certainly benefit by the addition of the Oak Lodge Conference Center which adjoins the Reception Center.
The Conference Center is serviced by the same wonderful kitchen that prepares delicious buffets and meals for the original Reception Center. Presentation equipment, conference tables, surround sound, wireless microphones and A.V. equipment are available for customer’s use.
